1. How long will it take to get my goods - Handbooks,
CMC Files, SOPs or Journals?
Most orders are shipped
within 5 business days from actual receipt of the full payment via
bank wire/check confirmation.
LIG's policy is not to ship editions just going out-of-date. The latest
updated and expanded editions will always take shipping priority.
This LIG policy is never violated especially when new editions are
about to be published. Obsolete editions are totally withdrawn and
removed three months prior to any new edition publishing date.
Since 2006 the Group Publishing Division modernized to an advanced
Internet web-based electronic and print-on-demand (POD) global operation
rendering central server and printing facilities obsolete. Known as 'Cloud computing and publishing'
all software and storage is a web based Internet publication system
for electronic or POD requirements that allows for the creation, editing
and updating of all LIGs publications.
Alternate Address
In the rare cases where Locum Shippers cannot
ship to a specific destination or address purchasing clients are required
to present a USA or EU shipping address.
We utilize registered
fully 100% replacement insured airmail or courier for print shipping
as this is the most economical means. Once shipped it usually takes
between 3 - 10 business days to
most parts of the world.
2. Shipping Levels
Please note there
are four levels of shipping. Normal, Priority, Fast Tract and Expedited
Shipping. Expedited orders for "Second Day" and "Next Day Air" shipping,
are also business days only.
LIG will process your purchases, free of any country salestax / GST
/ VAT / local or any custom taxes etc. in either the UK, IOM, USA,
RSA, Israel,

No, we never
share your name, or other demographic information with anyone - ever!
We may let you know about new specials, delays, tracking information,
new handbook editions, issues or updates to our web site which will
enable you to save even more money. In the same way LIG protects your
privacy. LIG rigidly protects its copyright and intellectual property.
Due to our authors copyright and intellectual property rights LocumGroup
will refuse sale or delivery to all anonymous end-users or when end-users
fail or intentionally refuse to complete IAGIM Copyright Membership
Forms especially where the possibility of an infringement can occur.
Absent an IAGIM membership number it is impossible to contact Association
via e-mail in the case of copyright violations as the copyright violator's

forfeit all rights either presumed or written and with immediate effect.

6. Do you Ship Internationally and How Much Does it Cost?
International shipping is standard as our
publishers are in Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. It costs
USD $149 per insured, global priority mail handbook ~ <4 kg weight
which represents the current average handbook volume in two parts. The
courier shipping and replacement insurance costs per Handbook volume
will not exceed USD $149 for postal weights up to <4 Kg. Handbooks
sets >4 Kg are set at $149 per set and for Asian countries at $169
per set. Certain countries (e.g. Bangladesh & others) must provide
EU, USA or Canadian alternative address.
LIG will process your purchases, free of any country salestax / GST
/ VAT / local or any custom taxes etc. from our publishers in either
the Asia, Africa, EU, UK, IOM, SINGAPORE, SWITZERLAND, USA, RSA, Israel
or Ireland.
Your receipt will reflect the actual air shipping
cost at the time of weighing and air shipping to the different postal
zones. Please note that shipping and insurance estimations may change
marginally from time to time, as postal rates change and increase, and
may differ from the initial e-mail quotation.
All shipping is priority EMS post, first class
air mail - and the parcel is insured for a 100% replacement, if lost
or damaged.
Note: We will provide you with an exact EMS
courier quote from EMS/UPS/DHL/FEDEX
before shipping items, door-to-door for expedited courier orders. EMS
Priority Global Express Mail is the MOST cost effective and usually
FASTEST shipping service recommended by LIG. All other couriers are
more costly.

7. What is LIG Credit/Return/Exchange policy?
All handbooks in perfect, unopened, resaleable
condition (in the original shipping material and copyright band intact),
ordered in error due to a shipping error, can be canceled, within 10
days of placing the initial handbook order
for a prorate refund, less costs. Locum ships on contractual invoices
which are final and binding. Wire payments on invoices are final, nonrefundable
and nonnegotiable. There are no-exceptions. As all parcels are insured
the insurance aspects determine any and all claims, thus this insurance
process may be lengthy and time-consuming.
If you intend to return an unopened, unused
handbook that meets ALL our return conditions, you must first contact us for return and shipping instructions
and authorization codes. Locum Group Council decisions are final and
absolute and nonnegotiable. One book volume set orders are treated as
casual and are of low priority. Such orders cannot be returned under
any circumstances.
We will pass a credit only less shipping,
insurance and handling charges once the returns are accepted, inspected
and processed (it takes about 8-24 weeks). When an entire set or sets
of the 24 / 33 Handbook volumes series is printed-on-demand (POD) then
no returns are permitted and no claims are processed. Cancellations
or order changes accruing during shipping in process, transit or while
shipped in transit via bonded warehouses would generate and require
additional reshipping, reinsurance and appropriate warehouse demurrage
charges. Where our copyright seals are broken, no credit under
any circumstances can be advanced and the books are considered read
and second hand and cannot be resold as photocopying or damage could
have occurred. Copyright seals removed damaged or torn indicate potential
photocopying or damage. No client wants to buy a second hand book and
Locum are extremely strict on this matter.
Where buyers have advanced claims to be agents or resale's and have
received agency discounts of 5 -10% such discount shall be refunded
back to LOCUM INTERNATIONAL LLC in full together with the $3.00
(USA) day fee from date of original invoice.
International Journal and Handbook Purchasers who refuse invoiced
copyright payment(s) or are found at a later time and place, to not
be approved agents shall pay forthright the copyright invoiced fee
(min. USD $500) and be debited with the agency discount where they are
not approved agents. Any other changes or price
increases including shipping, expired invoices and such like shall immediately
apply.
8.
All handbooks have security UV codes and light
sensitive ink that guard against unauthorized photocopying. Unfortunately,
no opened or used handbooks & Journals or computer CD dataware can
be returned (IAGIM and USA copyright protection laws).

10. Just what is an ISSN?
ISSN
is an acronym for "International Standard Serial Number". The 8-digit
numbering system utilized by the publishing industry gives every serial
a unique identification number. You can instantly and almost assuredly
find the exact journal / handbook you are looking for if you posses
the 8 digit ISSN for the book you are looking for. The ISSN number can
be found on the back of any book (you'll see the letters ISSN followed
by the 8 digit number) as well as on the "copyright page."
